When we first owned a second home abroad, we managed everything ourselves. Then systems failed, reliable specialists had to be found, and too often we flew in simply to make sure things were handled properly.
We asked friends and neighbours for help, and later hired a management company. But changing contacts, unclear costs and fragmented knowledge still left no one truly responsible for the house.
Everything changed when one trusted person learned the property, its systems, routines and our standards, and took charge locally. The home began to run smoothly, and we regained both our peace of mind and the pleasure of returning.
That experience became the foundation of Segunda Casa Mallorca: the owner-side service we had needed ourselves.
